Sri Venkateshwara College of Education (B.Ed) College was started from the Year 1987-88 with an intake of hundred students recognised from N.C.T.E. affiliated to Davanagere University and this College is situated in a beautiful place. The bachelor of education degree course is mainly designed to prepare effective secondary school teachers.

 Duration:
 Duration of the course is one academic year of two Semister(Present)
Two Years BEd course from 2015-16.

 Eligibility:

1.The candidates should passed in B.A/B.SC. (Should be studied at least any one language and two electives among the group)

2.General candidates should have 50% aggregate and 45% for SC/ST/C-1 Handicapped.

 Admission Procedure:

        75 Seats will be filled up by the Govt through common entrance exam conducted by CAC, Bangalore. Application forms can be obtained from the college office on payment of prescribed fee for Management seats. List of selected candidates and their respective interview dates will be published on the notice board and shall also be communicated to the candidates.  The candidate should appear for the interview on the time communicated to them their original documents.

 1.        S.S.L.C Certificate.

 2.        Marks card of qualifying examination.

 3.        Transfer   Certificate.

 4.        Migration Certificate issued by the university.

 5.        Character / Conduct Certificate issued by the college last studied.

 6.        Physical fitness Certificate issued by the govt. Medical officer.

 7.        Passport size photographs 6 Nos.
